Mailbutler’s Send Later feature allows you to write an email and schedule it to be delivered at a later date and time.
If your Mac is not awake, it will not be able to send a trigger to the Automator app and thus your email will not be sent. If you want to send an email at a specified time in the future without using a third-party app, the native apps on your Mac can help you do that. There are other scenarios need to schedule email or use Gmail send later. You may need to send an important email to deliver in foreign office in a different time or set up an email now and send later. The features include support for file attachments and rich HTML content to add style and structure. If you are a Gmail user, there is Gmail.
Note: The Send Later Feature should not be used to create email blasts or campaigns. Scheduling large batches of emails (more than 100) can result in a failure to send. This limit is due to most users’ servers, not because of Mailbutler.

Tick the box next to Optimize delivery for to activate Recipient-optimised Scheduling. When you are sending the email to multiple recipients, choose the recipient you want to optimize the scheduling for. The email will be scheduled for the optimal time to reach your recipient.

7. Click on Schedule to schedule the email.
8. Your scheduled email is now saved in the folder Mailbutler – Scheduled.

Compatibility Mode
Email accounts where scheduling fail can be set to run in Compatibility Mode. If enabled, emails are scheduled locally. Please note that for this work Mail must be kept open on the Mac the email was scheduled from.

1. Open Gmail.

9. You can reschedule or unschedule your email. Clicking on the email will open it in a new message window. Click on the date and time at the bottom to select a different date and time. To unschedule your email click on Unschedule.

Send Later for the Mobile App
Download the Mobile App in either the App Store or Google Play Store.Click here to compose a new email.
1. Open the app and go to Emails where on the bottom right you will see an airplane icon.
2. Click here to compose a new email.
3. To schedule your email, click on the clock icon, which is the second feature from left to right on the features bar.

How does Send Later work?
Mailbutler moves the email to the Scheduled Emails folder on the user's email server. The email will stay there until the scheduled time. We don’t save the email on our server nor do we send it from there.
